Ecolodge in the heart of Thai nature
EcoTao Lodge is an ecolodge on Koh Tao, an island located in southeast Thailand.
This island is a preserved paradise, and its name translates into Turtle Island due to its shape and the presence of marine turtles in its unique turquoise waters.
Its underwater world, with its impressive corals and abundant underwater life in a clear and warm water, is famous worldwide, particularly for scuba diving.
Koh Tao is also known for its jungle and its many climbing routes, so sport and nature enthusiasts will be delighted.
The small nearby island of Koh Nang Yuan, renowned as one of the most beautiful islands in the world, will seduce lovers of postcard views.

Our Seaview EcoLodge with a breathtaking view of the sea, in the middle of the jungle of Koh Tao Island, can accommodate 2 people with its quality double bed or two single beds, and up to 1 child with an optional extra bed (up to 10 years).

A sustainable and unique construction
We have designed and built our EcoLodge in a way that promotes a more sustainable and responsible tourism experience.
We have therefore attempted to minimize our impact on the environment by choosing and using the most environmentally friendly materials and construction methods available.
The typical Bamboo
We used an emblematic plant from South East Asia, bamboo. It is locally present and has unique properties of growth and resistance.
Local exotic wood
We have selected an exotic wood from a sustainably and locally managed forest.
Recycled coconut fiber
We have used coconut fiber, which, when added to limestone, is used to temper excess indoor heat. It also has great mosquito repellant features.
Sustainable management
Beyond the construction of the EcoLodge, the entire management of our resort has been designed differently, to offer our guests a stay in great comfort while being respectful to the environment.
Here are some of the initiatives taken:
Solar energy
We are equipped with a large surface of solar panels, as Koh Tao island has an ideal sun exposure. We are also connected to the government network to ensure constant electricity.
Responsible water management
We recycle wastewater for our gardens and collect rainwater through the shape of our unique roofs and offer filtered water to our guests. A unique initiative.
Healthy food
We have selected local partners to offer our guests healthy and local food. Our restaurant and delivery service offer Thai and European dishes, and will take diet restrictions into account.
